Leonid Tomilenko (Ukrainian: Леонід Томіленко, Leonid Tomilenko) is the Ukrainian Environmental Agency Minister and the father of Valentina Tomilenko who was blackmailed by American businessman Jonas Johnson in a scheme hinting at a ship carrying toxic chemicals to Ukraine. He is the tritagonist in the 2008 action/thriller film Transporter 3.

Biography[]

When Leonid Tomilenko forbids the company Ecocorp from having business in the Ukraine due to his environmental policies, Ecocorp hires Jonas Johnson to ensure renegotiations. The latter kidnaps Valentina and hires the courier Frank Martin to bring her to Budapest. In the meantime, Leonid receives a call of Johnson and photos of his daughter. To buy his agents the time to track his daughter, Tomilenko tells the negotiators from Ecocorp that he will sign the contracts allowing them to spill their chemical waste into the Ukranian ocean the next day in Odessa. The Minister later sends several agents in search of Valentina and Frank but they are killed after a car chase with the transporter's car.

Having no way to get his daughter back, Leonid is threatened again by Johnson, who lets the Minister talk to Valentina before giving him fifteen minutes to sign the contract. However, upon hearing from Frank's friend inspector Tarconi that Valentina is safe, Leonid tears up the Ecocorp contracts before heading for his business conference.
